Although we are using dnsmasq in this instance for address allocation we
are trying to avoid exposing the fact that it is dnsmasq in use, and to
allow configuration the address allocation.

What are you trying to configure differently. It would be preferable
(if at all possible) to allow configuration of the specific semantic
items.

As a work around, you can of course just request no dhcp support and run
dnsmasq separately.

Title:
  ubuntu-fan hard coded dhcp options

Status in ubuntu-fan package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Good morning,

  On Ubuntu 15.04
  ubuntufan: 0.3.0~15.04.1

Been experimenting with lxd and ubuntu-fan.
Seems like a match made in heaven, and thank you for creating these.
However please instead of using hard-coded dhcp options for dnsmasq, instead
give us an option to set/use a dnsmasq config file.

  Use case:
Replace usage of lxcbr0 with fan-xxx-xxx-xxx for use with lxd.
