I am having an annoying problem. Oftentimes Ubuntu crashes/freezes when I try to suspend (to RAM). I have already reinstalled Ubuntu (fresh reinstall) but the problem persists. I ran the bios diagnostic check (even the extended one) and no hardware problems were detected. I also ran a memory check via Windows and again no memory problems were detected. The problem: Sometimes when I try to suspend the computer freezes: the screen turns blank and the CAPS LOCK key indicator blinks. I am unable to ssh into the machine. The problem also happened with previous kernels.
