I have pointed it out to everyone I talk to about it. I've been
actively encouraging both adoption of the Frameworks and supporting
KDE in some way for offering these things to make things easier.

On some level, it already is, otherwise we wouldn't have these
discussions periodically. The question is how far we need to go on it.

I'm aware. As it is, it's probably not that big of a deal to lock onto
a Qt LTS until we have one that has QtWayland in base. Almost everyone
is waiting for that for their big efforts to upgrade their Linux
support, particularly in the CG/VFX community.
