This is the proper git way to give credits to the author of a patch. It is one big advantage over SVN and it requires just few characters more to type when you commit the change. This means that it's not a cost and it shows the proper authorship in the history. Please try it. If you don't want, I would be happy to review and commit the changes for digikam-docs. https://www.mcdruid.co.uk/content/git-commit-author-give-credit-where-credit-is-due https://www.drupal.org/node/52287 Soon you will also be able to use phabricator to approve the reviews for digikam-docs (and the other project), and phabricator will take care of adding the proper reviewers. > > Gilles > > 2016-12-27 22:44 GMT+01:00 Luigi Toscano <[email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>>: > > Gilles Caulier ha scritto: > > Git commit 5844e20947e2c642926d06d586bb29cf2fa9a66a by Gilles Caulier. > > Committed on 27/12/2016 at 21:41. > > Pushed by cgilles into branch 'master'. > > Hi again! > Did you find any issue while using git commit --author?
