Although I wasn't following it too closely, wasn't there put huge effort into 
ark a while ago? I'm not entirely sure bug for instance on

Sometimes it was referred to as ark2, but in general it's about improving ark
itself, I assume. Are there any news here?

It would be nice to get an update here.
