Hi, I'm the Ark maintainer, even if it doesn't mean much lately as you could see :-) [1] aside, it's basically me committing every once in a while and reviewing other people's patches. I can try to answer any questions you have about the code base and its history (on IRC or via mail). I have marked a few bugs in Bugzilla with the "junior-jobs" keyword since they are pretty easy to fix; you could start with those for example.
