I think you've reached a point we (kpat developers) can't really help you, you
need some other expert. I am going to move this bug out to kwin in hopes they
can hopefully help you in figuring out what may be wrong.
For the kwin devs, see the attached image, the user has that problem in their
regular session but not in a new one.
