If I have to do the same for other packages as well, it will be a while before I can do this as it will precipitate a full upgrade. If not, I will get gdb built tomorrow night and test then. On this run I issued $ export QT_LOGGING_RULES="kf.globalaccel.kglobalacceld.debug=true" before starting the tigervnc initscript, but this did not lead to any additional output showing up in the Xvnc log.
