It's possible I did it wrong, but I cherry-picked the commit you linked to and
added it to the PKGBUILD for mlt
(https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/mlt) and rebuilt,
but I'm still getting this error in Kdenlive.
