Worse: even after killing and restarting the now-named /usr/libexec/kglobalacceld as before (which does still calm the CPU), I now lose keyboard responsiveness entirely after 1min or so. (There are also some mouse behaviour peculiarities that I'm not yet ready to lay out comprehensively.) There is more than likely an additional bug at play for me here, but I thought the further anecdata might help others here.
