When you go to
Settings / Configure Kdenlive... / Environment / Default Folders tab / Folder
for rendering... / select 'Always use custom folder' and enter a new folder /
click Apply
the entered folder location is not used when you then Render without having to
exit Kdenlive and restarting it. Then the new folder is correct.
