For me, all that does is shut down the monitor again, so I have to move the
cursor for it to wake up again and eventually get the blank screen.
Also doesn't seem to do anything once I unlock the screen and get another blank
(desktop) screen where the monitor shuts down. Meta key eventually does brink
the screen back, though (~10-15 seconds later).
