No monitor attached, issue occurs on the laptop screen directly. As soon as I lock screen, either via application launcher or via keyboard shortcut, screen goes blank but I can see cursor if I move it, as per previous comments. I can type my password blindly and it unlocks screen and screen is visible again. Perhaps worth mentioning that I get the issue 19 times out of 20. Very rarely, the lock screen works as expected. Also /usr/lib/kscreenlocker_greet --testing always works fine.
