Pressing Esc works now as intended, but pressing Esc twice makes the system
unresponsive to keyboard and mouse inputs. The only way to recover is REISUB
(https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/keyboard_shortcuts#Rebooting). I'm observing
this on KDE Neon Unstable.
