example of window sticking to floating panel

I like the floating panels as they give the desktop a lighter look. 

When maximizing windows or using a windows tiling script to position windows e.
g.  top left the panel either "unfloats" or  the positioned window directly
sticks to the panel.

With an config option

[] always float
[] float on demand (current behaviour)
[] never float

and a reserved margin on every side - not only towards screen edges - it would
look more consistend IMHO
