Bug ID: 475079 Summary: Idea: Make floating panel behaviour configurable (float to non float when windows maximized) Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 5.27.7 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: peterrie...@yahoo.de CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 161988 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=161988&action=edit example of window sticking to floating panel I like the floating panels as they give the desktop a lighter look. When maximizing windows or using a windows tiling script to position windows e. g. top left the panel either "unfloats" or the positioned window directly sticks to the panel. With an config option [] always float [] float on demand (current behaviour) [] never float and a reserved margin on every side - not only towards screen edges - it would look more consistend IMHO -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
