How often do you end up accidentally hibernating and how are you accidentally
triggering it?
IMHO it's not needed.
It is reversible, just slower. We're slowing everyone else down for an edge
case. And making it an option doesn't really work, it's the sort of option
you'd only want retroactively and just for that one time.
