I am assuming As Ctrl+T dolphin tab

I could not reproduce using your instructions (with neon + Framework 5.103)
How did you create your file ? How many dolphin instances were running ?
Could report the content of those files:
/proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_queued_events
/proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_instances
Can use this command to launch dolphin and report the traces when reproducing
the problem:
QT_LOGGING_RULES=kf5.kcoreaddons.kdirwatch.debug=true dolphin
