            Bug ID: 465860
           Summary: Kwallet erases sessions
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kwalletmanager
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: va...@kde.org
          Reporter: msma...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
***
Kwallet doesn't ask if I want to use it as a password manager and erases all my
browsers' saved sessions silently. That's extremely frustration on dual GUI.
I, from time to time install KDE Plasma along side Gnome, as it is a per
version test to check how it's doing (good work guys!) I always forget to
remove Kwallet and Kwallet related packages. Because as soon as I log in to
Plasma and open any browser, all my sessions are gone. I am not sure, but I
think Chromium based ones lose their sessions even if I don't open them. As I
am not willing to login back again to all my accounts to test it, I will assume
that I am miss remembering it. I also don't know if it would happen with
another DE.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use for example Fedora Workstation and save some email session, youtube,
twitch etc with your logged account
2. Install Plasma Desktop, login to Plasma
3. Open your browser and see that all previously saved sessions are gone. Even
getting back to Gnome, they are gone

OBSERVED RESULT
Lose all logged services, websites, email etc

EXPECTED RESULT
To not require to login to all my services again

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 37
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25, 5.26 and 5.27 (kdesig/kde copr)
