Mysql database is on a Synology NAS on the local network Screenshot of error message from failed connection attached. Digikam 7.8 on the same machine can connect to the database. Digikam 7.9 on Fedora in a VM on Parallels on the same machine can also connect to the database. I can also connect using earlier versions of digikam under Ubuntu on a separate machine.
