Bug ID: 461597 Summary: Strange Banding Visible When Crop Tool is Being Dragged into the Canvas Classification: Applications Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based) OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: task Priority: NOR Component: Tools Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: pinkn...@yahoo.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** Since the Nov 2nd build, when I use the Crop Tool, there is a strange banding that appears when the tool is in use and being dragged into the canvas/image, but not when it is adding more canvas, and it disappears when I zoom in or pan the canvas. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Activate the Crop Tool on a canvas. 2. Drag the Crop Tool into the canvas to remove the image, not to gain more canvas. 3. Banding appears when in use and disappears when the user zooms or pans the canvas. OBSERVED RESULT A strange banding appears when in use. EXPECTED RESULT No banding should appear and the tool should glide smoothly on the canvas.
