Also, just another idea, another option would be to append the name of the port
the monitors are connected to. onto the name of the monitor being displayed.
That's what Linux Mint seems to do with it's display settings. So when there
are multiple monitors, they also show the port names, 'HDMI-0', 'HDMI-1',
'HDMI-2', etc. That would resolve the issue.
