How to perform step one on this situation?

Yeah I was used to do that to correct minor graphic glitches without losing my
perfect configuration. But now the problem is bigger than that and I just can't
open apps. Even when I manage to open one, it's out of reach, impossible to
interact with it or retreive it in screen. It's just displayed in the switch
app menu and thats all. So this trick will not save me this time
