STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. minimize or close all windows
2. right-click on desktop and choose 'Enter edit mode'
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
Plasma triggers the 'Show desktop animation' selected in Desktop Effects KCM
EXPECTED RESULT
No animation. 'Show desktop' animation is unnecessary if the desktop is already
being shown.
