Flatpak and Snap packages use a sandbox and are therefore unusable for digiKam.
We do not support either package format.
Use our AppImage from www.digikam.org.
There is a program for configuring the rights for Flatpak -> Flatseal. But you
have to try this yourself, no support from our side.
