Can't confirm this. I'm on Archlinux and while Wayland session started with
Plasma 5.23, since 5.24 it is broken, I only see the login/start animation but
then it freezes on that and I can only move the mouse but no desktop showing
up.
Not sure if this is the exact same issue as described here, since I don't get
thrown back to sddm.
