STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open System Settings in sidebar view mode
2. click on 'Appearance' category in the sidebar
3. open, via system tray, a KCM that does not belong to any category (Audio,
Notifications, Connections, Bluetooth)
OBSERVED RESULT
the column listing all KCMs under 'Appearance' is still active.
