Based on the contents of the .config/ksmserverrc file it looks like the
previous versions of files in .config/session should be deleted at login
because there is a "rm" command in the ksmserverrc file. 

"discardCommand2[$e]=rm,$HOME/.config/session/systemsettings_106d617273000164348968600000036930008_1643493938_600324

But the audit trace shows that the file deletion fails. So perhaps that is why 
there seems to be a buildup of old files in .config/session. Maybe it is a
separate bug. If we could find someone who has the file buildup problem but not
the session restore problem (this bug) it would tell us its a separate problem.
