It also happens to me on the laptop, on the PC and on a mini PC. On every
reboot I have to sort the windows of each virtual desktop because they are
stacked. Specifically, the dolphin windows are stacked and the rest, like
konsole or kwrite are in different places. I have tried deleting the session
files and although at first it seems to work then it fails again.
