Interesting enough, today I started to eliminate everything more or less related to the issue and when I removed Conky, out of sudden Latte started to launch properly and I wasn't able to reproduce the issue anymore. As soon as I returned Conky back, on the next login this issue appeared again. I will now try to make Conky start delayed in order to not interfere with Latte.
