As the developers of digiKam, we don't do the translation. Since I speak German
natively, I plan to take part in improving the German translation when the
translator has moved to the git version management system. The addition of
contextual information last is also one reason why the current translation is
very sketchy. But in the future it can improve the translation. German
translators in particular are always looking for help, as a translator you
don't have to be a programmer. Any help is welcome.
