Bug ID: 434609 Summary: Sound shown as output to Bluetooth device, but no audio until switching back to it Product: plasma-pa Version: 5.21.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: now...@gmail.com Reporter: ddascalescu+...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 136837 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=136837&action=edit Screencast SUMMARY I have a Bluetooth headset paired with my laptop. When I power on the headset, it pairs, and it apparently becomes the default output device. However, sound isn't output to it; it keeps coming out of the laptop speakers. I need to click the Speakers in the Audio applet, then click back on the Headset, then the headset does receive audio. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Play audio through the laptop speakers (Spotify on ThinkPad X1C) 2. Power on previously paired Bluetooth headset OBSERVED RESULT The default audio output device appears to be the headset, but sound still comes out of the speakers EXPECTED RESULT Audio output through the Bluetooth headset SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.21.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0 Qt Version: 5.21.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
