This is strange... Do you have any output with:
journalctl | grep StatusNotifier
If it is possible, can you send whole log?
journalctl > log
Be warned, log may contain personal information or other sensitive data! Make
sure to check and filter out unwanted information. If you want to limit
recipients you can check "CC List" in this bug and send using email (if you are
willing to do so).

It is whole 8 seconds after kded5, but I can see that whole plasma startup
process takes more that a minute! So it might be that kded5 started, but the
service responsible for SNI (Status Notifier Manager) was still loading...
Can you share your computer spec (cpu speed/memory/hdd type etc)? Maybe I can
simulate it in Virtual Machine.
