--- Comment #106 from Dennis Brünig <m...@dennis-bruenig.de> ---
device xps 13, arch linux, kernel 4.6,
using mini-dp to dvi adapter to connect second display (EXT).
plasma-workspace / plasmashell (v5.6.90) at commit
0d0c4f4a2247e8213deb232d2d80f12480dc05aa:

This [1] is possibly related to the kind of adapter I use although my adapter
works without any problems, just a thought.

Three issues I noticed:

1. After 20 plugging, unplugging EXT cycles panel only did not show up once.

2. Note: This issue already did exist before the test version. Swapping
primary display back and forth (INT to EXT and back) works once or twice and
then stops working. Whether doing this with the gui or xrandr, the result is
the same (nothing happens except display becoming marked as primary). This
state is reset (but happens again) after replugging the adapter dp->dvi
adapter.

3. Panel is set to always visible and placed at the bottom edge of the screen.
Maximizing a window results the window being maximized up to the bottom screen
edge and not to the panel edge which was the normal behaviour with the previous
stable version.
