This one goes into the wishlist.
I would suggest that developers find the courage and determination
to redesign the eraser functionality so that we wouldn't necessarily rely on
the 10 brushes script to switch between a different paint brush preset from the
eraser brush one. I feel like you haven't really engaged into changing this
aspect yet.
So prayer, for the sake of a better workflow, for all artists including the
ones among you, bring the option to assign the "E" shortcut key to a brush
preset that is used independently from the paint brush preset. And for the
eraser mode, we could use something like "SHIFT + X" shortcut given that X is
already used to shift between foreground and background color.
I hope you like the idea and want to go for it.
