As with your other bug reports, you fail to provide the information asked for, so I cannot help you: * Are you sure you're not working on a grayscale image? * Could you also attach the contents of help->system information for bug reports? You might have a problem, but it's more likely that your problem lies in misunderstanding how painting software in general works, than that you have found a bug in Krita, as with the other issue you reported.
