When tested more I have found that when using a clean Kubuntu 19.10 or openSUSE Tumbleweed ctrl+shift+alt+delete (and ctrl+alt+shift+delete) works as expected therefore the problem reported before is specific for my current desktop configuration ... Good to know that it is intentional two have two variants for keyboard shortcuts for "Leave" command.
