The latest formal release of krita is now version 4.2.6 so please update your
installation and try this again.
Airbrush Soft is already a preset in the Brush Presets docker so I don't know
what you mean by "make a preset of the soft airbrush".
Did you use the Brush Editor to modify it and make a new preset based on
Airbrush Soft or overwrite the existing preset? What did you do?
