Though I did try to change the API in 4.2.5 and 4.2.6 and the problem still occurs. 1. Uninstalled 4.2.5 and went in to delete all previous Krita config files in %LOCALAPPDATA% (thanks for the link!) 2. Installed 4.2.6 3. Problem persists! Unfortunately, I don't think it is a hardware issue, after testing it in One Note, Sai, etc. and the brush specifically still working. (Interestingly enough, in Sai, there is a double click problem which might be related... but doesn't happen on Krita buttons.) ... However, I will revisit resetting my surface pen/touch drivers etc. because I'm not sure what else it could be at this point.
