Yosemite is ancient! The last security update for it dates back to 2015 :s.
Im not sure but I think it was decided to just support the last two previous
versions of OSX. however we currently build Krita with a OSX minimum version of
10.11 in mind, which is "El Capitan".
I'm not sure we can assure krita will work well for "Yosemite" as we lack an
OSX from that version to test :/
