It's not fairly indicative of anything. On the EXACT same desktop computer with
the EXACT same phone having done nothing different I can open Dolphin and not
find the device. I can open Files and not only find the device, but copy
pictures from it to the local machine.

This used to work with Dolphin. KDE has a
fixit-breakit-breakit-breakit-fixit-breakit-breakit-breakit-breakit history
with this.

This has nothing to do with the phone or settings or anything other than a lack
of testing.
