            Bug ID: 399375
Summary: Plasma's default Window Actions Modifier Key is ALT
and it breaks Krita's ALT modifier
           Product: krita
Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!)
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Usability
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: tyson...@mail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
KDE Plasma 5 has a Window Actions setting hidden in:

KDE > System Settings > Window Management > Window Behavior > [Tab] Windows
Actions > [Section] Inner Window, Titlebar & Frame > [Droplist] Modifier Key

This setting by default is "Alt" and it breaks Krita's Alt modifier which is
essential in many actions. It doesn't help that the setting itself being is
difficult to find.

Tested on Manjaro KDE 17.1.12, krita-4.2.0-pre-alpha-ea49ede-x86_64.appimage

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Krita under KDE Plasma 5 with its default settings.
2. Use Any of Krita's Selection Tools, make a selection
3. Then try press ALT and try to subtract from that existing selection

OBSERVED RESULT
Pressing ALT in Krita cause its window to move, while the expected Krita ALT
modifier action (subtract from current selection in this case) cannot be
triggered.

EXPECTED RESULT
Change this setting to Meta by default, so that it will never conflict with any
graphics editor with this type of ALT interaction.
