For some days now muon doesn't finish with the usual grey finish window and the
"all up to date" message. It just shows an empty package list control.
I'm sorry, but I'm still not very experienced in trouble shooting on
Linux/Kubuntu. But I tried to get some error messages by running it from
Terminal. Maybe this might help:

$ muon-updater

I'm still running Kubuntu 14 LTS and yes I know I should upgrade, but I need to
run some programs that seem to cause problems on newer Ubuntus, so at the
moment this is not an option for me.
Maybe someone could help me nevertheless.
