Jobs configured as On (START_AT) + Until (FINISH_AT) often stay Idle. The 48 h
plan omits them. Log may show "completed its sequence of 0 light frames".
ASAP+Until and On+Sequence work.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Scheduler: two mosaic tiles On + Until, start times > 10 min apart, Until
windows contiguous.
2. Evaluate / show 48 h plan (do not rely on Start alone).
OBSERVED RESULT
- On+Until tiles Idle or absent from 48 h plan
- ASAP+Until tile may appear; On+Sequence jobs OK
EXPECTED RESULT
On+Until duration = startup → Until; jobs Scheduled and listed in the 48 h
plan.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KStars 3.8.2 / 3.8.5; terrain 2026-10-15 NGC 7331.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
GreedyScheduler::simulate() clears startupTime on job copies;
invalid.secsTo(Until) = 0 → SCHEDJOB_COMPLETE.
ASAP+Until uses now->Until; On+Sequence uses capture estimator.
Workaround: mosaic windows = ASAP+Until; park/flats = On+Sequence.
Distinct from MIN_RUN_SECS=600 (≤10 min On spacing).
