DESCRIPTION
After updating KDE Plasma to 6.8.x, some games, particularly Clone Hero, have
their frame rates capped at the screen refresh rate even if they have a higher
cap set.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch an affected app like Clone Hero
2. Set the in-game frame cap to a high value like 360
3. Enable the FPS counter

OBSERVED RESULT
The FPS counter will show a constant or fluctuating cap at your monitor's
refresh rate, and unsteady frame pacing.

EXPECTED RESULT
The game runs at its free, high rate.

terminal window): Linux 7.2.11-1-cachyos

Qt Version: 6.12.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
My particular system uses an NVIDIA graphics card with the latest nvidia-open
kernel modules.
