the current accent color is blue, the glow around the icon button is yellow,
the glow around minimize button is green, both are previous accent colors and
didnt update
DESCRIPTION
When changing the accent color in System Settings, parts of the Oxygen
Application Style / Window Decoration fail to dynamically update to the new
accent color while running.
Specific elements retain the previous accent color (e.g., if starting with
yellow accent color and switching to blue):
- Tabs abd buttons hover glow effect in some applications (e.g. Digital Clock
Settings).
- Window decoration buttons (minimize, maximize) hover highlights in all
applications.
These components continue to show in the old accent color until plasmashell is
restarted.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1- Set Accent Color to Color A (e.g., Yellow) and apply.
2- Set Application Style & Window Decoration Themes to Oxygen.
3- Change the Accent Color to Color B (e.g., Blue).
4- Open a application (e.g., Dolphin or Digital Clock Settings dialog).
5- Hover over tabs/buttons, window buttons (minimize/maximize), or item focus
outlines.
OBSERVED RESULT
Hover glows on tabs, window control buttons, and item highlights retain Color A
until the application style is re-applied or plasmashell is reloaded.
EXPECTED RESULT
All Oxygen UI elements, highlights, and window decoration button glows
immediately update to Color B.
