It's convenient for me because English is not my native language. There is a general sentiment that can be summarized like this: If you aren't willing to write something yourself, don't expect others to be willing to read it. I would suggest using a more direct translation service like Google Translate or something similar. Depending on your perspective, it might feel like a pointless difference because you're not really writing the English yourself. However, a more direct translation service is more likely to match your own writing style and say what you've really written. We prefer more direct methods of communication because LLMs can hallucinate information. People can misunderstand and miscommunicate too, but we'd rather talk to a person instead of a "meat proxy" (https://meatproxy.me/). Discouraging LLM generated messages is also a way to filter out people who aren't willing to put any effort into communication. When you have to talk to many people and everyone is able to send long messages without using their brains, it can be exhausting. It makes us want to automatically ignore anyone who writes a message that looks like it was generated by a chat based LLM. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
