I'm not able to immediately reproduce this with Firefox on Plasma built from git-master, and scroll speed set to 2 Can you see if the input events are being received by kwin? Open KRunner and search for KWin Debug Console. Open it and go to the Input Events tab. Then, scroll as usual in Firefox and see if all the scroll events are logged.
