            Bug ID: 526112
Summary: Fedora Kinoite: Error: Transaction in progress
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Discover
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: rpm-ostree Backend
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
On my rather slow Chromebook running Fedora Kinoite, I have enabled automatic
updates. Sometimes it works fine, but most of the time the following error
shows up:

06:40:23.013 UTC [email protected] "rpm-ostree"
"(error):" "error: Transaction in progress: update --check \n You can cancel
the current transaction with `rpm-ostree cancel`\n"

This causes the automatic update to fail, requiring the user to manually start
the update. This also happens when clicking on 'update' too early after
checking for updates. Timing rpm-ostree update --check manually gave the
following results (unreliable because the system has just updated):

real 0m9,606s
user 0m0,026s
sys 0m0,019s

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Update the system via Discover or enable automatic updates.
2. Just wait.
3. Observe the error.

OBSERVED RESULT
The update (in first instance) (seemingly) fails.

EXPECTED RESULT
The update is successful at the first try and no pop-ups with errors get shown.
