I suspect that might be caused by the timing shifting slightly.
Vulkan drivers use commit timing to throttle the app to only a bit over the
refresh rate of presentation, so if the screencast frames happen to be offset
just right (or wrong) vs. the display, you can sometimes get a frame progressed
by the screencast and sometimes by the display.

https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/9082 will probably fix it,
but it breaks things atm.
