Note that no rebooting is necessary. Logging out and in again is sufficient. I
just did that several times with a test user while I kept a session with my
usual user running.

It’s not a big issue for me, especially now that I know how to work around it.
Still, I found it worth reporting, in case it’s a symptom of a deeper issue.
